What is Leadership Coaching?

Leadership Coaching (also referred to as Executive Coaching) is a one-to-one development process formally contracted between a professional coach, an organization (sponsor), and a leader (lower, middle or upper management) who has people management and/or team responsibility. Working with the goals defined by both the leader and the organization, the professional coach uses various coaching methods and feedback data to develop the leader’s capacity for current and future leadership.

Leadership/Executive coaching can also be contracted between the professional coach and the leader.
